Too Verbose

This page is far too text-y. As a landing pad for prospective course students, I don't think it'll attract them to sign up. How can we make it much more attractive? --Harry-admin 23:25, 27 September 2011 (BST)

We could have the main Robotics 101 page be a nice landing page aimed at prospective students, and move the details to Robotics 101 Details, or similar...
Another option could be to shave down the text heaviness on the top headings or maybe rearrange them such that its very welcoming at the top, and more detail at the bottom... -- Madcowswe 00:47, 28 September 2011 (BST)
I spoke with a friend of mine, who is interested in taking the course, and he didn't think that it was too text-y when i introduced him to it. --Madcowswe 01:48, 29 September 2011 (BST)

First come first serve

I don't think that first come first serve will be a good idea. Its better to leave application open for a few days and then pick people randomly. Not only will that be easier on the applicants, and not favor those who walk around with a smartphone, but we will also get an idea of how many sign up and thus how many are interested -- Madcowswe 00:37, 29 September 2011 (BST)

I would love it if our tickets did sell out because people were scrambling about for their phones hoping to be quick enough to beat everyone else. Perhaps we could DDoS the server :P But in all reality I think that we wont sell out within a few hours. More like within a few days. I do, however, like the idea of knowing more precisely the demand. --Harry 18:09, 29 September 2011 (BST)
