The Raspberry Pi is a credit card sized computer developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to stimulate more creative young minds. It has a Broadcom BCM2835 system on a chip (SoC) which contains an ARM1176JZFS running at 700Mhz and a Videocore 4 GPU capable of BluRay quality playback, using H.264 at 40MBits/s. Model B has 256Mb RAM, 2 USB ports and an Ethernet port.
