Crash Course in CAD
Crash course in CAD is an introductory course to Computer Aided Design (CAD). The course consists of several sessions comprising part lecture and part practical sessions where participants are asked to solve tasks under supervision and help from the course leaders.
This course does not require any prerequisite knowledge concerning CAD. A portable laptop with the necessary software is required to participate in the practical session-part though. A computer mouse and a power supply are also strongly recommended.
This term the CAD software is AutoDesk Inventor Professional 2014, which is freely available for students at student.autodesk.com.
An email with all the details (software, lecture theatre etc.) with be sent to those who bought tickets.
The course will be made up of 6 sessions hosted on Tuesdays evenings (Automn 2014) at 6 pm. We aim to run the course twice throughout the year, once during the Autumn term and once in the Spring term. If you are interested in taking part during the second term, please send a message to Matteo Sbroscia (email@example.com), the course leader, or drop in our lab in EEE lv.5 on a Wednesday afternoon.
